Today, Redwire and Zed Factor Fellowship announced that Redwire will be partnering with the fellowship as a host company to support the inaugural 2021 Zed Factor Fellowship class with exciting internships this year. The fellowship seeks to empower and engage learners and aspiring aerospace professionals from underrepresented backgrounds through hands-on, practical experiences working and contributing to leading companies in the aerospace industry.
This new partnership will expand on Redwire’s existing commitment to investing in the next generation aerospace industry workforce. Redwire already partners with organizations like Brooke Owens Fellowship and Matthew Isakowtiz Fellowship Program through the company’s internship program. Through its support of Zed Factor Fellowship, Redwire will be able to reach more young professionals from different backgrounds.

The Zed Factor Fellowship Program
Established in 2020, the Zed Factor Fellowship aims to elevate the diversity and impact of the aerospace community. Through internships for top qualified applicants, Zed Factor empowers learners who struggle to find role models that they can emulate. The program consists of five key attributes: mentorship from an aerospace professional, an internship at an aerospace company, professional development programs, self-designed service projects, and a continuing network to connect students throughout their educational and professional journeys.
Redwire is proud to partner with Zed Factor Fellowship to empower and equip the next generation of aerospace professionals.
