Redwire Provides Critical Payload Deployment Subsystems and Engineering Services for First Flight of X-Bow's New Rocket

X-Bow’s successful first launch is a strong testament Redwire’s ability to deliver the advanced, critical engineering solutions needed to make these launches successful.

Leveraging its expertise in critical deployment subsystems, Redwire worked closely with X-Bow in the development of their launch vehicle for the successful first test of the Bolt rocket. Redwire developed and delivered the launch vehicle structure, separation system, launcher interface, and ground support equipment. Redwire also provided vehicle integration, launch, and post-flight recovery support. X-Bow was able to leverage Redwire’s expertise in these areas, which enabled them to focus on their core technology development while accelerating their path to a successful first flight.

Ground Support and Equipment

Redwire offers a range of ground support and equipment (GSE) services to increase mission readiness for your payloads and satellites. From break-over carts to vehicle lever cables and harnessing to custom payload adapters, our solutions help prepare your mission for success before it even leaves the ground.

Redwire has provided GSE products for a number of critical partners, including Momentus and Ingenuity.

Cables and Harnessing

Redwire’s team of highly skilled technicians and security-cleared personnel have more than 80 years of combined experience in electronics and harness design, manufacture, assembly, and testing, as well as in PCB fabrication and spacecraft integration and installation. Redwire can manufacture and assemble cables and harnesses to your requirements to meet NASA or end-user requirements.

Static Load Testing

Redwire personnel have been performing static load testing of large space structures for close to 25 years now. All of the ESPA and ESPA-Grande qualification test campaigns have been performed by Redwire personnel, along with static load testing for Sandia National Labs, Applied Composites, Ball Aerospace, Sierra Space, Boeing, Moog, Air Force Research Labs, Spaceflight, and more. Our well-versed and highly experienced team can put together test plans, design structural tests and supporting hardware, execute the test, and deliver test reports and data.
