Space Symposium Day 2: Redwire Explores DoD Space Architectures, Space Finance and Business Strategy, LEO Commercialization, and More

Redwire kicked off the second day of the 38th Space Symposium with the Addressing Future Gaps in DoD Architectures Tech Talk at the Redwire booth. The Tech Talk, moderated by Redwire’s Executive Vice President of National Security Space Dean Bellamy, included panelists Doug Hendrix, CEO of Exo Analytics; Tina Ghataore, Chief Commercial Officer of Mynaric; Dr. Andy Williams, Deputy Technology Executive Officer for Space S&T, AFRL; and Col. Kevin Amsden, Deputy Director, National Space Defense Center, National Reconnaissance Office, and explored the latest issues and technologies around DoD architectures.

Redwire Chief Growth Officer Mike Gold participated on the The Race to Reinvent the Space Station panel. He was joined by Tejpaul Bhatia from Axiom Space, Dr. Janet Kavandi from Sierra Space, Richard Mastracchio from Northrop Grumman, Brent Sherwood from Blue Origin, and Marshall Smith from Voyager Space. The panel discussed the future of commercial space stations and progress being made on current programs.

MECO at the Redwire Booth

A live podcast recording of space industry podcast Main Engine Cut Off (MECO) continued for the second day at the Redwire booth. Host Anthony Colangelo and guests discussed the commercialization of low-Earth orbit and the Moon, finance and business strategy of the space industry, and the latest space industry news announced at Space Symposium.

Guests included Molly Mulligan, Redwire Director of Business Development; Jana Spruce, Vice President of Spacecraft at Firefly; Kevin Foley, Program Director Commercial Space Projects, Boeing; and Angela Hart, Manager of Commercial LEO Program Office at NASA, discussing commercialization of LEO and the Moon.
