Redwire Issues Request for Commercial and Dual Use Payloads Seeking to Fly in Very Low Earth Orbit

Redwire today announced that it is seeking information from parties interested in contracting a payload slot on its very low Earth orbit (VLEO) Demonstrator Flight, which is expected to leverage a modified version of the company’s SabreSat platform.

VLEO is a crucial domain for the future of defense and intelligence operations. As a worldwide leader in developing and providing VLEO capabilities, Redwire is conducting trailblazing work to bring this untapped orbit from concept to full-scale operations.

Redwire recognizes that VLEO platforms present dual benefits to both transform military capacity and capability but also demonstrate new value for commercial Earth observation capabilities.

With its U.S.-built SabreSat VLEO platform design, Redwire is designing new configurations for these platforms to support commercial activities.
