Littleton, CO –  On March 9 and 10, 2016 the Oakman Aerospace, Inc. Board of Directors (BoD) held their annual meeting. The agenda was filled with discussion and actions on a wide-range of topics that will continue to keep OAI competitive in the New Space marketplace. One of the more significant actions from the Annual BoD meeting was the appointment of Ms. Maureen S. O’Brien as OAI’s Chairwoman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective March 9, 2016.  In this role Ms. O’Brien will be responsible for strategic direction and long-range planning for Oakman Aerospace, Inc.  Maureen has been instrumental in OAI’s early successes, and both Stan, Sr. and Stan Jr. are confident the corporation’s future under her adept leadership will be bright.  Mr. Stanley O. Kennedy, Sr. will remain on the board in the role of Executive Vice President.  The OAI BoD is grateful for Stan, Sr.’s leadership of the organization during the initial start-up phases and looks forward to continued support and insight that leverages well over 40 years of experience in Space and High-Technology areas of expertise.  Stanley O. Kennedy, Jr. will continue on the OAI BoD as the President and Chief Systems Engineer responsible for the day-to-day execution of OAI business operations.
