Native American Heritage Month: Creating a Culture of Inclusion on Earth and in Space

Observed each November, American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month pays homage to the rich traditions and culture of our country’s indigenous people. We celebrate the important contributions Native Americans have made to our country, Redwire, and the aerospace industry.

There have been countless influential Native Americans that have impacted the aerospace industry. Recently, NASA astronaut Nicole Mann made history as the first Indigenous woman to go to space. Watch as Mann shares a special message live from the International Space Station about achieving a career in aerospace as a Native American.

At Redwire, we celebrate heritage months to recognize the impact of diversity and how inclusion is imperative to our overall success. Our commitment to inclusivity is spelled out in our Core Values and we work diligently to recruit and retain a diverse workforce.  Learn more about our Core Values and available opportunities on our careers site.
