JACKSONVILLE, Fla (November 26, 2024) – Redwire Corporation (NYSE: RDW), a leader in space infrastructure for the next generation space economy, will co-host a prelaunch livestream event with the industrial engineering and technology group Sener, prime contractor of Proba-3, on December 4 at 10:00 am CET to discuss industry’s role in enabling the Proba-3 mission—the world’s first precision formation flying mission, that will study the sun. The livestream event will feature commentary from mission experts discussing how the Proba-3 dual satellites were developed and the important science and technical objectives that will be accomplished.
The Proba-3 mission is led by the European Space Agency (ESA) and Redwire is responsible for spacecraft integration, testing, and providing the onboard computer, through a contract with Sener, the mission’s prime contractor. Sener has been responsible for both the flight and ground segments of the mission.

The livestream will begin approximately 1 hour before scheduled liftoff and will conclude approximately 15 minutes before liftoff to allow the audience to change to the ISRO launch feed, which will be streamed via ESA TV.
