Redwire Chief Architect Named to Titan 100 List

This week, Redwire’s Chief Architect Stanley O. Kennedy, Jr. was named to the 2021 Titan 100 list, a distinguished group of 100 CEOs and C-level executives in the Colorado metropolitan area. Representing both the private and public sector, these leaders are considered titans of industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision, passion and influence in their field. Stan has spent more than 36 years developing game-changing technology in the aerospace industry, making him a true visionary within the field.

As Chief Architect, Stan oversees the development of Redwire’s system of systems architecture to support business goals and technology maturation priorities. Stan also oversees proposal development and the company’s architectural road map, maintaining awareness of the organization’s evolving portfolio, technology advancements and internal research.

In addition to his vast aerospace industry experience, Stan has also devoted his time to enabling the next generation of space enthusiasts through his work with STEM outreach programs and initiatives. Stan is the Technical Chairman of the Frank J. Redd Student Competition held annually in conjunction with the AIAA/USU Small Satellite Conference and has also worked to develop STEM education and rocketry programs in underserved communities. He considers this commitment to fostering more engagement in STEM fields and careers paramount to measuring his success.

Prior to joining Redwire, Stan was the Co-Founder, President, and Chief Systems Engineer of Oakman Aerospace, Inc., a firm specializing in digital engineering solutions that was acquired by Redwire earlier this year.

Stan has also held technical and management/executive positions with Comtech AeroAstro, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, and Lockheed Martin Space Systems. He has worked on heavy-lift launch vehicles, upper stages, multiple spacecraft programs and ground systems supporting domestic and international government and commercial customers. Stan also serves on the U.S. Commerce Department’s Industry Trade Advisory Council on Aerospace.

Redwire commends Stan on this outstanding honor and celebrate the decades of unparalleled innovation and leadership he has brought to the aerospace industry.
