The Albuquerque facility has now been recognized by Albuquerque Business First as a top workplace for three years in a row.
For the third year in a row, Redwire’s Albuquerque, New Mexico, facility has been selected as a recipient of Albuquerque Business First’s Best Place to Work Awards. This year, Redwire bested their 2023 achievement of being in the top five by earning the top spot as the best place to work in Alburquerque. Each year, Albuquerque Business First selects top honorees based on public nominations and employment satisfaction surveys from participating companies.
“We are proud to once again be recognized by Albuquerque Business First as one of the city’s best places to work,” said Redwire Director of Engineering, Ken Brunetto. “The award is a testament to the Redwire team’s commitment to excellence and collaboration as we support some of the world’s most exciting space missions.”
Through strong leadership, a hardworking team, and a dedicated employee engagement program, Redwire’s Albuquerque facility is not only supporting humanity’s expansion into space, it’s also a fun place to work. The ABQ team enjoys activities like burrito Fridays, meat Thursdays, welcome lunches for new employees, summer picnics, NCAA basketball tournament pools, and a fantasy football league.
Supporting more than 20 spaceflight missions with customers like NASA and the Department of Defense, Redwire’s Albuquerque facility is a leading provider of mechanical, structural, and thermal satellite and space launch technologies. By covering the entire design-build-test-deliver cycle, the Albuquerque team can support customers from concept to flight. Some of the products and services provided include deployable structures, thermal management components, R&D engineering, structural testing, and thermal analysis.
