Chris Pearson

Executive Vice President, Critical Components

Chris Pearson is Executive Vice President of Redwire’s Critical Components business unit and oversees offices in Boston and Luxembourg. Chris led Roccor through acquisition by Redwire in 2020 and on through the integration process before becoming Executive Vice President of Critical Components in early 2022.

In 2016, Chris joined Colorado spacecraft deployable systems startup Roccor and took over as CEO in 2018 as the company grew dramatically from a 10-person garage operation to a 100+-person fully fledged supplier delivering solar arrays, antennas, and custom deployables to blue-chip primes and government customers.

Chris has 25 years of international experience in the space industry beginning in the UK at Airbus in Stevenage and AEA Technology in Oxfordshire. Chris moved to the United States in 2004 as founding employee to successfully lead the establishment of Enersys Advanced Systems’ (formerly ABSL Space Products) space manufacturing facility in Colorado before holding senior positions at both Surrey Satellite Technology and Moog.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Manchester University, master’s degrees in space engineering and control engineering from Cranfield University and Imperial College, respectively, and an executive MBA from the University of Colorado.
