Redwire Announces Three New Appointments to Board of Directors

Jacksonville, FL– August 12, 2020 – Redwire, a new leader in mission critical space solutions and high reliability components for the next generation space economy and a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, LP, announced today the appointment of three new members to the company’s board of directors.

Joining the Redwire Board of Directors are Reggie Brothers, CEO of NuWave Solutions and former Under Secretary for Science and Technology at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security; Joanne Isham, former Deputy Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA); and Jeffrey D. Grant, former Northrop Grumman Vice President and General Manager of the Space Systems Division.

About Reggie Brothers

Dr. Brothers currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of NuWave Solutions. Most recently, he was the Chief Technology Officer of Peraton, and prior to that was a principal with The Chertoff Group. From 2014 to 2017, Dr. Brothers served as Under Secretary for Science and Technology at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he was responsible for a science and technology portfolio that included basic and applied research, development, demonstration, testing, and evaluation with the purpose of helping DHS operational elements and the nation’s first responders achieve their mission objectives. Dr. Brothers earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

About Joanne Isham

Ms. Isham currently serves as President of Isham Associates, LLC., an advisory firm focused on national security and high tech, having retired in 2006 from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) after a distinguished career. From 2001 until 2006, she served as Deputy Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In addition to effectively managing day-to-day activities in the midst of a national crisis, Ms. Isham was responsible for the development, acquisition and operation of mission critical systems. Previously she was the deputy director for science and technology at the CIA.  As the senior technical advisor to the Director of Central Intelligence she managed the research, development, deployment and operation of technical intelligence programs of national importance. During this timeframe, Ms. Isham played a significant role in the creation of In-Q-Tel, the CIA’s non-profit venture capital firm.

About Jeffrey D. Grant

Mr. Grant currently serves on The Aerospace Corporation’s Board of Trustees, having retired from Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems as vice president and general manager of the Space Systems Division in 2018. In this role, he was responsible for providing space solutions to civil and military customers as well as members of the intelligence community. Previously, Mr. Grant was vice president of National Systems within Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Division, and vice president of business development at Northrop Grumman Space Technology (now Aerospace Systems). He has received numerous awards in recognition of his exemplary skills in systems engineering and earned value management, including the Distinguished Intelligence Medal, the Intelligence Medal of Merit, the Intelligence Certificate of Distinction, Engineer of the Year, and Certificate of Distinction. He also serves on the board of directors for the Space Foundation. Mr. Grant received a bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.
